8K TVs are actually quite divisive largely due to their weighty price tags and currently ‘unrealized’ potential. In short, while 8K TVs are amazing and produce stunning visuals, especially at larger sizes, there is very little in the way of native 8K content – either in gaming, TV, or Blu-Ray at the moment. Even consoles like the PS5 are ‘8K ready’, but this has yet to be unlocked as there simply aren’t enough games being developed in the resolution.
